LifeLine touches lives and heals the hurts of people”

The mission of LifeLine Family Care, has, as a Biblical basis, the mission and ministry of Jesus Christ as he outlined it in Luke 4: 18-19. He said, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to preach the good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight to the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” Here Jesus quotes from Isaiah 61:1-2. In the latter part of 61:1, Isaiah states in his prophecy, “He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted.”

Five points comprise the mission of LifeLine Family Care:

Preach/Proclaim good news to the poor:
“Poor” denotes one for whom life and living has become a struggle; one who has lost hope and feels a sense of helplessness. LifeLine Family Care seeks to provide therapeutic interventions that will aid the hopeless to find renewed hope and the helpless to regain a sense of inner strength.

Bind up the brokenhearted:
There are those who have been emotionally and spiritually broken as a result of past or present experiences, relationships, and traumas. LifeLine Family Care seeks to provide therapeutic interventions that will bring healing to those broken by such difficult life circumstances.

Proclaim freedom to the prisoners:
There are those who are held prisoners by negative thinking, alcohol and drug abuse, and low self-esteem. LifeLine Family Care seeks to provide therapeutic interventions that will give individuals and families the “keys” to unlock and unchain themselves from such debilitation influences.

Release of the oppressed:
There are those who are oppressed by life circumstances, marital, and family difficulties. LifeLine Family Care seeks to provide therapeutic interventions to individuals and their families to help foster healthy, God-honoring relationships.

Recovery of sight to the blind:
There are those who have lost their way, with no sense of direction or clearly defined goals for their lives and, as a result, feel no real sense of purpose or meaning in life. LifeLine Family Care seeks to provide therapeutic interventions in such a way that those with such difficulties will discover their sense of identity and be able to see themselves as God sees them.
